Des rendements en berne
Face à la hausse des taux d’intérêt et à l’inflation, le principal reproche fait au Livret A concerne la faiblesse de son rendement. Lors de sa création en 1818, le taux était fixé à 4%, alors qu’il n’est actuellement plus que de 3%, un niveau qui reste toujours bas par rapport au taux d’inflation en France.
Cette rémunération peu attractive ne suffit souvent pas à lutter contre l’érosion monétaire causée par l’inflation, faisant perdre du pouvoir d’achat aux épargnants. En prenant en compte le niveau d’inflation en 2023 (environ 6.4 %), le taux réel du Livret A est négatif.

3. Immobilier
Malgré sa volatilité et ses coûts d’accès, l’immobilier reste un placement privilégié par de nombreux Français du fait des loyers perçus, de la valorisation du patrimoine et des avantages fiscaux associés.
